Right to Know
As a public agency, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health complies with Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law (RTKL). This law provides public access to certain records maintained by government entities.
Making a Request
To submit a public records request under the Right-to-Know Law, please direct your written request to:

All requests must be in writing and sufficiently describe the records being sought to enable proper identification.
Response Time
The department will respond to requests within five (5) business days as required by the RTKL. If additional time is needed, you will be notified accordingly.
